We’ve all heard it. In our culture, it’s hard to say "no" to a favor. But when that favor starts affecting your payroll and your bills, it’s no longer a friendship—it’s a liability. Don't let "pakiusap" culture be the reason your business fails. 🛡️ A solid contract isn't a sign of distrust; it's a sign of professionalism. #LegalPH #BusinessOwnerPH #CivilCodePH #Entrepreneurship #ProtectYourBusiness #PinoyBusiness #ARBLaw #ARBlaw #lawfirm #philippinelawfirms

You did the work. You delivered the value. So why is your bank account still waiting? When a client ignores your invoice, they aren't just "busy"—they’re disrespecting your livelihood. A formal Demand Letter is the pivot point between "please pay me" and "see you in court." It’s your most powerful tool to: ✅ Establish legal default. ✅ Secure your right to claim interest. ✅ Build the foundation for Small Claims or Estafa cases. Stop the "just checking in" loop. It’s time to draw a line in the sand. #DebtCollectionPH #SmallClaims #FreelanceTipsPH #BusinessLaw #DemandLetter #EntrepreneurPH #ARBLaw #ARBlaw #philippinelawfirms #bgclawfirms #bgclawyers

Child support isn’t a favor; it’s a right. ⚖️ In the Philippines, providing for a child's needs—from food and shelter to education and medical care—is a legal obligation of both parents, regardless of their relationship status. If you’re struggling to secure the support your child deserves, you don’t have to navigate the legal system alone. In a press release published by the Supreme Court Public Information Office last September 5, 2025, the Supreme Court has reiterated that the donation of subdivision land to a local government unit (LGU) must be in writing for ownership to be transferred. The SC clarified that open spaces and road lots in subdivisions do not automatically become government property. LGUs cannot rely solely on ordinances or laws to claim ownership. A written donation is required to transfer ownership legally. Without it, the property remains private and cannot be claimed by the local government.
